What Pillow should I use to Prevent Back, Neck and Shoulder Pain?

Do you have neck, shoulder or back pain? Have you tried every pillow out there and still cannot find a comfortable position? Maybe you have acquired a pillow graveyard by now with all the pillows you have tried and have failed!

Well our office is now offering custom fit pillows from Pillowise which have really made a huge difference for our staff as well as our patients. I know I have been skeptical about pillows in the past that say “custom”, but I can assure you these are measured to the individual! We take a few measurements of your shoulders and neck and take into account if you are a stomach, back or side sleeper; as well as how firm, medium or soft your mattress is. The pillows are made out of a memory foam which is very comfortable to lay on.

Since I have been using one of these Pillowise pillows, I no longer have nerve pain going down my arms and into my hands when I wake up. I just assumed the nature of my job is what was leading to my nerve pain but turns out it was my pillow. I was very surprised this pillow made such a huge difference in my day to day and with my sleep. Now I take my pillow with me any time I go to a hotel or a friend’s house. This company is also making a travel version of the pillow as well which I plan to take with me on my trip to Europe!

Now I’m not saying that these pillows are magical and will solve all of your problems. But it can certainly help give you some relief, which in turn can help you progress faster and further with your Physical Therapy treatment.

If you are interested in having a free measurement, please ask one of our physical therapists! We would be more than happy to help fit you for a pillow to improve your sleep quality and decrease any pain you may have been experiencing for quite some time. There is no need to suffer any longer!
