I had a patient this week talk about doing their exercises at home the past 2+ weeks and how they were really starting to see a difference. Now let me be a bit more specific, they were doing the BEST exercises that were prescribed for THEM to see the change that they were looking for.

What is the BEST Exercise??

There really is not one special exercise that fits everyone and that is because as much as we are all the same, our bodies are slightly different. Each of us has been through injuries, broken bones, surgeries sometimes, played different sports, sleep in different positions, do different jobs and so much more!

Shaina is the founder and owner of Breakaway Physical Therapy.  She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Baltimore, along with a Bachelor's degree from Towson University.   Shaina is an Ironman triathlete, with a love of all sports. Exercise is her passion, which plays an important role in both her personal and professional life.  In her free time, Shaina enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children.  Shaina's love of snowboarding led her to her career choice many years ago.
